I was quick to get into my room and I was pleased that my room was ready early due to my flight being ahead of schedule. The morning of checkout I noticed a BED BUG in the other bed!! I know how hard it is to get rid of all of them and it disgusted me that I had to hold my carry on with my clothes in it for 4 hours as I went home and had to immediately wash them in hot water.
Travel alot and have stayed in about 20 motel 6 this year. This is the best i have stayed at. The pics on web are the ones you get in real life most are not. Room clean fresh and just what motel 6 was 25 years ago before they started going down hill. I think all other motel 6 should take a tour of this one to see how theirs should look and be run. I wished i could give a 10. I recommend anyone stay here.
I reserved a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room. When I went to the front desk to request a room change the front desk attendant said there was nothing she could do. Additionally she stated that reserving a non-smoking room is no guarantee of getting a non-smoking room. Because there was a huge sporting event in town, I was unable to find another room.
The next day when checking out I informed this of the new person at the front desk. They didn't seem to care, they simply made up excuses. Nor did they offer me my money back or a discount.
All my clothing and bags reeked of cigarette smoke the next day.
Awful experience. entry lock didn't work properly, room phone didn't work, front desk worker was rude, cockroach in bathroom and advertised free wifi, then front desk worker says payment is required. Would not recommend this motel to anyone.
Dirty soap scum showers! Dirty stained sheets with human hair (proof they didn't change sheets), dirty soiled bed skirts with the cakes dirt still on them. Smoke holes in flannel blanket with stains. The lady at the desk was wonderful and attentive and apologetic. The owner is to blame! They couldn't take credit cards cash only! This was booked on line! This is ridiculous. Better off camping outside with supplies I know and trust to be clean! They charge over $100 per room!!
