I’ve passed this place so many times and have wanted to stop. I was traveling with a friend one day and finally decided to stop. The inside of this place is vaulted and huge (not sure why). We just went for the cookies. We tried a bunch of different ones and they were all okay. Their best thing is their cracker cookie. Cheese cookie? I forget what it’s called, but when you first taste it, it’s strange. Then it’s addicting. They have to have a touch of chili powder in them because they have a tiny bite to them, but really good. They also have stands and stands of fruit cakes everywhere. My mom would have gone bonkers here. She loved this stuff!
We ordered our sons first birthday cake and smash cake from Collin Street Bakery, and my wife was beyond satisfied with the out come of the cake. It looked amazing, and tasted Great! The icing was not to thick or to sweet, and Alyssa had every detail done exactly the way we asked it to be done. We will definitely use them again in the future! Alyssa my wife Amber says thank you so much for making it all possible with the cake!
We try to stop here whenever we're driving through Waco on a road trip. Great bakery which also means their sandwiches, etc are on great bread. Nice big clean place with clean bathrooms too. Generally a good idea for a pit stop, unless you're on a diet :P
My oganization had a meeting there today. My first time actually visiting and it was very nice. Our server even danced for us which was fun! The biscuit sandwich was very good. Our book rep brings us cookies so I brought home some that I liked and some cheese rolls. We loved the rolls but unfortunately my dog ate the cookies while we were at the Waco High football game!
The large sausage wrap things are amazing! Not spicy like I thought it would be. Great full flavor. Two of them are a full meal. The smaller ones are like little smokies sausage. Good but small. More bread to sausage ratio which I like, but the large ones are legit!
